Leveling Up In Finances: From Childhood to Adulthood!
As we grow up, we are determined to "not be like our parents."
But, let's be honest, there are gems that our parents have dropped as we were growing up and for me finances were a huge topic in our household...the good, the bad, and the ugly!
In this podcast, I have the pleasure of speaking with my daddy, Tony Rogers, on how he learned about finances. He went from a skinny kid, with antiquated teachings about money, going into the Air Force to a twice retired, debt-free Air-Force Captain/Corporate Executive at the age of 55!
My siblings and I called him CHEAP...then we went to FRUGAL...then we said, "This man actually knows what he is talking about...teach me."
I have gathered all the gems my dad has taught me about Finances (and cooking!) and I applied them to my life to create a lifestyle both my husband and I desire. We are now teaching these same lessons to our sons! We are shifting their money mindset!
